Tucked away, The Writer’s Room is a completely private space for parties, celebrations and large group gatherings. With your own bar and dedicated barman, your group has the room entirely to yourselves.

A cosy semi-private space that keeps you close to the atmosphere of Sally Mac’s while giving your group an area of your own. An archway separates The Snug from the main bar, with a dedicated bar area and your own barman.

  • Capacity: 35–40 guests, with a mix of seated & standing space

  • Yes, we have private/group booking food options available. Please ask upon enquiry.

  • The Writer’s Room has a fully private bar. The Snug has a secluded section of our main bar with your own dedicated bartender.

  • Of course! Just nothing that may damage walls, such as thumbtacks.

  • The Snug is wheelchair accessible with an accessible bathroom.

    The Writer’s Room is down a flight of stairs with no lift.
